What is StoryStork?
StoryStork is an AI-powered story platform that writes personalised, original stories in seconds. Choose characters, themes, a lesson to teach, and your child's name — the AI crafts a complete story with cover art. You can also narrate it using built-in voices or a clone of someone you love. There's a grown-up fiction mode too, for horror, thrillers, and dark fantasy.
How do Anthologies work?
An Anthology is a growing collection of connected stories — think your child's own Winnie the Pooh. Each new chapter continues where the last left off: characters develop, lessons carry forward, and the world expands. From your library, group any stories together into an Anthology and keep building it over time.
What are Personas and how do they work?
Personas are named character profiles that persist across every story. Create one for your child (or any character) with their name, personality traits, favourite things, and friends. Every story you generate will weave them in automatically.

How does the token credit system work?
Tokens are StoryStork's credit system. Each action costs a set number of tokens and your balance refreshes monthly. Free accounts start with 15 tokens after email verification.

Can I listen to stories — is audio free?
Yes — any story can be narrated using built-in voices (Hope, Amelia, James, Jon) or a creator voice from the marketplace. Generating narration costs tokens (see table above). Listening to already-narrated stories uses your weekly audio listen allowance:

What is Voice Cloning?
Record around 2 minutes of someone reading aloud. StoryStork learns their cadence, warmth, and the way they say your child's name. Every story you generate can then be narrated in that voice — so grandparents can read bedtime stories from the other side of the world. Voice cloning is available on Storyteller and Dreamweaver plans. Cloned voices are private and encrypted, and are never used to train AI models.

Can StoryStork write stories for adults, not just children?
StoryStork has a grown-up fiction mode — psychological horror, campfire thrillers, dark fantasy, true crime, and supernatural stories. Toggle it from the generate page (or lock it on from your profile). It's the same platform, completely different voice — mature and atmospheric but never sexually explicit.
